While our racks and gear are built tough, and can easily carry double our suggested load limits, it’s essential to remember there’s an optimal weight limit to maintain the stability and safety of your vehicle both on-road and off-road.

WHY WEIGHT MATTERS –

Vehicle Stability During Highway Swerving: Overloading can shift the vehicle’s center of gravity. In situations where a sudden swerve is necessary, an overloaded vehicle may become difficult to control, posing a higher risk of accidents.
Handling in High Winds: A vehicle carrying excess weight, especially if not distributed evenly, is more vulnerable to strong winds. The added weight can make it challenging to steer correctly in gusty conditions.
Maneuvering Curves on Highways: An overloaded vehicle may struggle to maintain its lane during curves. The extra weight can cause the vehicle to drift or respond sluggishly to steering.
